Abstract
This research was conducted at PT Mitra Aluminium Jaya Utama Medan
to test and determine the influence of motivation2on employee’s job2satisfaction
at PT Mitra Aluminium Jaya Utama Medan.
The theory used in this study relates to the theory of family business,
motivation and job2satisfaction.
In this study, the method used by the author is a quantitative analysis
method. The type of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data.
Data was collected through interviews, questionaire and questionnaires are
distributed to employees. The total population and sample is 33 employees. The
scale used to measure variables is the Likert scale.
The results of the partial test can be explained that tcount (4.446) > ttable
(2.040) and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, then motivation influence
employee job satisfaction at PT Mitra Aluminium Jaya Utama Medan. The
coefficient of determination which can be seen from the results of the R square of
0.389. This means that the employee's job satisfaction of 38.9% is explained by
work motivation and the remaining 61.1% is explained by other variables outside
of this research, namely promotion, reward, compensation.
The conclusion of this study is that motivation influence employee’s job
satisfaction at PT Mitra Aluminium Jaya Utama Medan./Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Mitra Aluminium Jaya Utama Medan untuk
menguji dan menentukan pengaruh motivasi karyawan terhadap kepuasan kerja
karyawan di PT Mitra Aluminium Jaya Utama Medan.
Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan teori bisnis
keluarga, motivasi dan kepuasan kerja.
Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah metode
analisis kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data
primer dan data sekunder. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, kuesioner dan
kuesioner dikirim ke karyawan. Total populasi dan sampel adalah 33 karyawan.
Skala yang dipakai untuk mengukur variabel adalah skala Likert.
Hasil sebagian tes dapat dijelaskan bahwa tcount (4.446) > t table (2.040)
dan nilai yang signifikan dari 0.000 <0.05, kemudian motivasi kerja berpengaruh
terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di PT Mitra Aluminium Jaya Utama Medan.
Koefisien penentuan yang dapat dilihat dari hasil R square dari 0.389. Ini berarti
bahwa kepuasan kerja karyawan 38.9% dijelaskan dengan motivasi bekerja dan
sisanya 61.1% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini, yaitu promosi,
penghargaan dan kompensasi.
Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh
terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di PT Mitra Aluminium Jaya Utama Medan.
