Abstract
Pendidikan Kristen bertujuan untuk membimbing siswa pada pemulihan gambar
dan rupa Allah. Bukan hanya kemampuan kognitif yang menjadi fokus utamanya
tetapi melalui pendidikan Kristen guru berperan penting dalam membawa siswa
untuk semakin hari semakin serupa dengan Kristus melalui pendidikan karakter.
Meskipun saat ini pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara daring, siswa tetap diharapkan
untuk memiliki sikap disiplin agar tercipta pembelajaran yang kondusif. Namun,
kenyataannya kedisiplinan siswa kelas VI di salah satu sekolah Kristen di Toraja
masih tergolong rendah, siswa tidak mematuhi aturan kelas, memotong
pembicaraan guru, tidak tertib dan tidak bertanggung jawab dalam mengikuti
pembelajaran. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya komunikasi guru dalam
mengingatkan dan menjelaskan kepada siswa akan pentingnya kedisiplinan.
Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tujuan penulisan ini adalah memaparkan upaya guru
dalam mendisiplinkan siswa melalui kompetensi sosial pada pembelajaran daring
dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun upaya guru
dalam mendisiplinkan siswa seperti konsisten mengkomunikasikan peraturan kelas,
mengapresiasi perilaku baik siswa serta berkomunikasi dengan santun kepada
siswa, sesama guru dan orang tua siswa mengenai perilaku siswa. Penulis
menyarankan agar guru konsisten mengasah kompetensi sosial dalam
mendisiplinkan siswa dengan merefleksikan kompetensi sosial yang sudah
dilakukan, serta mencari informasi tambahan mengenai cara berkomunikasi dan
berelasi yang baik untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran melalui membaca buku
dan mengikuti seminar mengenai kompetensi guru./ Christian education aims to guide students in the restoration of the Image of God.
It is not only about cognitive abilities, but through Christian education, teachers
should bring students to be more like Christ through character education. Although
online learning, students are still expected to have disciplined attitude to create
conducive learning. However, discipline reality of grade VI students in one of the
Christian schools in Toraja is still low, students do not obey class rules, interrupt
teacher's conversation, unorderly and not responsible for participating in learning.
This is caused by the lack of teacher communication in reminding and explaining
the importance of discipline. Based on it, the purpose of this paper is to describe
the efforts of teachers in disciplining students through social competence in online
learning using qualitative descriptive research methods. The teacher's efforts in
disciplining students such as consistently communicating the rules to students,

appreciating the good behavior and communicating politely to students, teachers,
and parents regarding student behavior. The author suggests that teachers
consistently hone social competence in disciplining students by reflecting social
competencies that have been done, as well as seeking additional information about
how to communicate and relate well to be applied in learning through reading
books and attending seminars on teacher competence.
