Abstract

Posesif 2017 film directed by Edwin, is a story that raised about the life of high school adolescents that occurred at this time. Telling about the love story of two lovebirds who turned into a possessive act of the man, Yudhis played by the Adipati Dolken of his lover, Lala, played by Putri Marino. This story is uniquely packaged because it lifts the dark side of high school teenage romance, which turns out there is violence. The purpose of this study was to identify the signs of violence contained in Posesif film with Roland Barthes semiotics model through denotative and connotative. This type of research is descriptive qualitative by using semiotics Roland Barthes as data analysis technique. The subject of this research is Posesif film, with the object of this research is violence in Posesif film. The findings of representation of violence in this film as behavior or actions that are unfair and should be aware in the reality of life. Possessive films are also incompatible with the myth that men are committing acts of violence in relationships. It turns out that women also commit acts of violence, although in various forms of violence indicators./ Film Posesif 2017 yang disutradarai oleh Edwin, merupakan cerita yang mengangkat tentang kehidupan remaja SMA yang terjadi pada masa ini. Menceritakan tentang kisah cinta dua sejoli yang berubah menjadi tindak posesif dari sang lelaki, Yudhis yang diperankan oleh Adipati Dolken terhadap kekasihnya, Lala, yang diperankan oleh Putri Marino. Cerita ini dikemas secara unik karena mengangkat sisi gelap dari percintaan remaja SMA, yang ternyata di dalamnya terdapat kekerasan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasikan tanda-tanda kekerasan yang terdapat di Film Posesif dengan model semiotika Roland Barthes melalui tanda denotatif dan konotatif. Tipe penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan semiotika Roland Barthes sebagai teknik analisis data. Subjek penelitian ini adalah film Posesif, dengan objek penelitiannya adalah kekerasan di film Posesif. Hasil temuan representasi kekerasan dalam film ini sebagai perilaku atau tindakan yang tidak wajar dan perlu diwaspadai dalam realita kehidupan. Film Posesif juga tidak sesuai dengan mitos yang mengatakan bahwa prialah yang melakukan tindak kekerasan dalam hubungan. Ternyata wanita juga melakukan tindak kekerasan walaupun dalam berbagai bentuk indikator kekerasan.
