Abstract
Pendidikan jasmani adalah suatu proses pendidikan yang dilakukan melalui
berbagai kegiatan jasmani untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan ketrampilan
jasmani, pertumbuhan kecerdasan dan pembentukan watak. Penguasaan gerak
dasar maupun ketrampilan dasar adalah sesuatu yang sangat penting dan dapat
mempengaruhi hasil praktiknya. Hasil observasi pada saat mengajar menunjukan
bahwa siswa kelas 7.2 SMP XYZ Tangerang ditemukan beberapa masalah
terutama pada penguasaan teknik dasar lari jarak pendek yang berdampak pada
hasil yang dicapainya. Banyak dari siswa tersebut belum menguasai teknik-teknik
lari dengan benar, mereka hanya berpatokan pada siapa yang lebih cepat larinya
dan lebih dulu melewati finish dibanding cara bagaimana agar dapat melakukan
lari jarak pendek dengan baik dan benar. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan
melalui tes kemampuan teknik dasar lari dan observasi pembelajaran teknik
dasar lari jarak pendek 50 meter. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis
deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik persentase. Prosedur penelitian
menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang meliputi perencanaan,
pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga
instrumen; rubrik penilaian teknik dasar lari, daftar centang mentor, dan kuesioner
siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan media tongkat
pramuka dalam pelajaran atletik lari jarak pendek 50 meter dapat meningkatkan
teknik dasar lari jarak pendek 50 meter pada siswa kelas 7.2 SMP XYZ
Tangerang Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode
Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus,
dengan tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan
refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 7.2 SMP XYZ Tangerang Tahun
Ajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari guru
mentor, siswa dan peneliti. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut:
bahwa hasil kemampuan teknik dasar lari jarak pendek 50 meter meningkat dari 9
siswa atau 34% pada kondisi awal menjadi 19 siswa atau 73 % pada akhir siklus I
dan meningkat menjadi 25 siswa atau 98 % pada akhir siklus II. Simpulan
penelitian ini adalah menggunakan media tongkat pramuka dapat meningkatkan
teknik dasar lari jarak pendek 50 meter pada siswa kelas 7.2 SMP XYZ
Tangerang Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016/
Physical education is an educational process which is done through a variety of
physical activity to improve physical ability and skill, intelligence growth and the
formation of character. Mastery of basic movements and basic skills is something
very important and can affect the outcome of the practice. The results of
observations at the time of teaching shows that class 7.2 XYZ junior high school
students in Tangerang found some problems, especially on mastering the basic
techniques of sprinting that have an impact on the results achieved. Many of these
students have not mastered the techniques run correctly, they were solely
concerned with who is quick on his feet and first past the finish than how to be
able to sprint properly. The data collection technique is through a test run basic
technical abilities and observation learning basic techniques of sprinting 50
meters. Analysis of data using qualitative descriptive analysis technique using the
techniques percentage. The procedure uses a model Kemmis research and Mc
Taggart covering planning, action, observation and reflection. This study uses
three instruments; run basic engineering assessment rubric, checklist mentor and
the student questionnaire. The purpose of this study is to investigate the use of
media in the lesson sticks scout athletics sprinting 50 meters can increase basic
techniques of sprinting 50 meters at class 7.2 XYZ junior high school students in
Tangerang Academic Year 2015/2016. This study uses a Class Action Research.
The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning,
action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were students of class 7.2 XYZ
junior high school in Tangerang academic year 2015/2016 which amounted to 26
students. Source of data derived from mentor teachers, students and researchers.
The results of this study can be summarized as follows: that the result of the
ability of the basic techniques of sprinting 50 meters increased from 9 students, or
34% at baseline to 19 students or 73% at the end of the first cycle and increased to
25 students or 98% at the end of the second cycle , The conclusions of this study
is to use the media stick scouts can improve learning outcomesbasic techniques of
sprinting 50 meters at class 7.2 XYZ junior high school students in Tangerang.
