Filsafat konstruktivisme dan humanisme adalah dua filsafat yang mempengaruhi pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini termasuk pemilihan strategi, metode dan media pembelajaran. Kedua filsafat ini memberi pengaruh dalam landasan guru untuk memilih dan menggunakan metode pembelajaran dalam mengajar. Pengaruh filsafat ini membuat landasan atau pandangan pembelajaran yang berbeda dari filosofi pendidikan Kristen. Filosofi pendidikan Kristen harus menjadi dasar pandangan bagi guru dalam memilih metode pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Metode pembelajaran yang berdasar dari filosofi pendidikan Kristen akan membantu siswa menerima pengetahuan dan pembelajaran yang maksimal serta mewujudkan tujuan dari pendidikan Kristen. Tujuan dari penulisan karya ilmiah ini adalah menganalisis filsafat konstruktivisme dan humanisme dalam pemilihan metode pembelajaran ditinjau dari pandangan pendidikan Kristen. Karya ilmiah ini mengkaji filsafat konstruktivisme dan humanisme. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa metode pembelajaran yang dilandasi oleh filsafat konstruktivisme dan humanisme dapat digunakan oleh guru Kristen namun guru Kristen harus menggunakan pandangan teologi Kristen dalam penerapannya. Maka disimpulkan bahwa guru Kristen harus memperhatikan 1) pengetahuan dan kebenaran sejati hanya bersumber dari Allah, 2) guru dan siswa adalah gambar Allah namun telah jatuh dalam dosa sehingga cenderung melakukan kesalahan 3) metode pembelajaran yang dimodifikasi harus berdasar pada filosofi dan tujuan pendidikan Kristen. Saran dari penulis bagi pembaca yaitu menyadari pandangan diri dan meningkatkan kompetensi diri dalam mengajar. The influence of these philosophies makes the foundation or view of learning different from the philosophy of Christian education. The philosophy of Christian education should be the basic view for teachers in choosing learning methods that suit the needs of students. Learning methods based on the philosophy of Christian education will help students receive maximum knowledge and learning and realize the goals of Christian education. The purpose of writing this scientific work is to analyze the philosophy of constructivism and humanism in the selection of learning methods from the view of Christian education. This scientific work examines the philosophy ofconstructivism and humanism. The results found that learning methods based on the philosophy of constructivism and humanism can be used by Christian teachers but Christian teachers must use the views of Christian theology in their application. It is concluded that Christian teachers must pay attention to 1) true knowledge and truth only comes from God, 2) teachers and students are images of God but have fallen into sin so they tend to make mistakes 3) modified learning methods must be based on the philosophy and goals of Christian education. The author's advice for readers is to realize their own views and improve their competence in teaching. This scientific work uses the literature review method.
