Abstract

Sekolah X di daerah Jakarta Barat merupakan salah satu sekolah yang menerapkan pendidikan Kristen yang berpusat kepada Kristus. Tujuan dari penyusunan portfolio ini adalah memaparkan penerapan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri pada kelas TK-B sekolah X dengan topik tumbuhan. Pada topik ini, siswa dituntun untuk memiliki pemahaman sepanjang hayat bahwa Allah telah menciptakan bumi beserta isinya. Ia juga memberikan mandat pada manusia dan memberikan akal budi untuk mengerjakannya. Allah mempercayakan manusia sebagai mahkota ciptaan untuk melestarikannya. Siswa diajarkan untuk memahami tumbuhan sebagai ciptaan-Nya yang harus dipelihara melalui literasi sebagai pengenalan terhadap topik. Pembelajaran tersebut menggunakan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri dengan beberapa metode, seperti ceramah, diskusi, pengamatan, dan permainan. Berdasarkan analisis hasil belajar siswa, strategi pembelajaran inkuiri dapat diterapkan pada kelas TK-B yang ditunjukkan dengan kemampuan siswa dalam mengenal kata. Data menunjukkan bahwa dari 19 siswa, 8 siswa dapat berkembang dengan sangat baik dan 5 siswa berkembang sesuai harapan dalam pengenalannya terhadap kata di dalam kalimat. Saran yang dapat diberikan kepada guru Kristen adalah pelaksanaan pengamatan terhadap lingkungan belajar dan karakteristik siswa yang lebih matang untuk mendukung penentuan strategi dan metode yang sesuai kebutuhan atau kelebihan siswa sehingga dapat menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna, serta dapat menuntun siswa untuk berjalan di dalam kebenaran Allah./School X in West Jakarta is one of the educational institutions that applies Christ-centered Christian Education. The purpose of this portfolio is to present the implementation of inquiry learning strategies in the TK-B class of school X and focus on the topic of plants. In this context, students are guided to develop a lifelong understanding that God has created the earth and all its contents. They are taught to comprehend plants as His creations that need to be nurtured, utilizing literacy as an introduction to the topic. The learning process employs inquiry learning strategies through various methods, such as leaturing, discussions, observations, and games. Based on the analysis of student learning outcomes, inquiry learning strategies can be effectively applied in the TK-B class, demonstrated by the students’ ability to recognize words. Data indicates that out of 19 students, 8 students showed significant progress, while 5 students progressed as expected in their word recognition within sentences. Recommendations for Christian teachers is observing the learning environment and the characteristic of students to support the selection of appropriate strategies and methods tailored to students’ needs or strength, thus creating more meaningful learning experiences and guiding students to walk in the truth of God.
