Abstract

Penulis melakukan praktikum mengajar di salah satu sekolah Kristen di Kota Jakarta Pusat. Kelas yang menjadi tempat penulis mengajar adalah siswa kelas II yang terdiri dari 22 siswa dengan berbagai keunikannya. Sebagai pengajar Kristen, penulis membawa siswa untuk dapat merefleksikan ekspresi dan kreativitas Allah di dalam berbagai hal. Serta membimbing siswa untuk mengelola dan mengembangkan keterampilan yang telah Allah berikan untuk memuliakan Allah dan memasyurkan nama-Nya. Berdasarkan pengamatan penulis terhadap konteks masyarakat, sekolah, dan kelas maka penulis memutuskan untuk menggunakan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri. Sehingga setelah selesai dilakukannya serangkaian satu unit pembelajaran, penulis memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa 90% siswa di kelas II sudah mengerti terhadap pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang diajarkan mengenai penulisan huruf tegak bersambung dengan memperhatikan penggunaan huruf kapital dan tanda bacanya. Untuk itu penulis berefleksi harus dilakukannya evaluasi pembelajaran secara berulang untuk dapat melihat hasil berupa pertumbuhan siswa /The writer did a teaching practicum at a Christian school in Central Jakarta City. The class where the writer teaches is class II students, which amounts to 22 students with various unique qualities. As a Christian teacher, the writer brings students to reflect God's expression and creativity in various things. As well as guiding students to manage and develop the skills that God has given them to glorify God and make His name famous. Based on the writer's observations of the community, school and classroom context, the writer decided to use an inquiry learning strategy. So, after completing a series of learning units, the writer made the conclusion that 90% of students in class II already understood the Indonesian language lessons taught about writing cursive letters by paying attention to the use of capital letters and punctuation. For this reason, the writer reflects that learning evaluations must be carried out repeatedly to be able to see results of student growth
