Abstract

Kemampuan berbicara dan membaca merupakan kemampuan literasi yang hendak dicapai dalam pembelajaran ini. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan penulis selama kurang lebih satu bulan di kelas Kindegarden 1, didapati murid yang memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda-beda termasuk gaya belajar yang berbeda-beda. Oleh karena itu, penulis harus bisa merancang pembelajaran berdasarkan kebutuhan murid. Salah satu cara yang penulis dapat lakukan adalah dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran diferensiasi. Melalui pembelajaran bahasa dengan topik neighbourhood (lingkungan) siswa diharapkan dapat mengembangkan keterampilan literasi berbicara dan membaca. Melalui pembelajaran ini, yang menjadi pemahaman sepanjang hayat yang ingin dibangun adalah siswa dapat memahami bahwa bahasa yang Tuhan anugerahkan kepada manusia berperan untuk memuliakan Allah melalui pengabaran Injil dan dalam membangun komunikasi dengan sesama. Oleh karana itu, dengan mengambangkan keterampilan berbicara dan membaca murid, murid dapat mengerjakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya untuk memulikan Tuhan. Adapun strategi pembelajaran yang penulis gunakan adalah Inquiry Based Learning. Strategi Inquiry adalah pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk membentuk peserta didik bisa lebih kreatif dalam memecahkan suatu masalah. Dalam pembelajaran ini, penulis menggunakan metode pembelajaran ceramah plus tanya jawab dan metode belajar menggunakan game untuk mendukung tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Hasil pembelajaran murid menunjukkan perkembangan yang baik dalam mengenal huruf yang awalnya murid hanya mengenal huruf dengan sistem hafalan dan setelah mengikuti pembelajaran ini, murid mampu mengenal huruf dengan benar sehingga, membantu murid mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara dan membaca. Melalui pembelajaran ini, penulis berefleksi bahwa pembelajaran akan berhasil jika pembelajaran yang dirancang sesuai dengan kebutuhan belajar siswa yang nantinya membawa siswa pada pembelajaran sepanjang hayat. / The ability to speak and read is a literacy skill aimed to be achieved in this learning process. Based on the observations conducted by the author for approximately one month in the kindergarten 1 class, it was found that students have various characteristics, including different learning styles. Therefore, the author must be able to design learning based on the students' needs. One way the author can do this is by implementing differentiation learning strategies. Through language learning with the topic of neighbourhood, students are expected to develop speaking and reading literacy skills. Through this learning, the lifelong understanding that the author aims to build is that students can understand that the language bestowed by God to humans plays a role in glorifying God through the proclamation of the Gospel and in building communication with others. Therefore, by developing students' speaking and reading skills, students can fulfil their tasks and responsibilities to glorify God. The learning strategy used by the author is Inquiry Based Learning. The Inquiry strategy aims to shape students to be more creative in solving a problem. In this learning, the author uses lecture plus question-and-answer methods and learning through games to support the achievement of learning objectives. The results of student learning show good progress in recognizing letters, where initially students only knew letters through rote memorization, and after participating in this learning, students were able to recognize letters correctly, thus helping students develop speaking and reading skills. Through this learning, the author reflects that learning will be successful if it is designed according to the students' learning needs, leading them to lifelong learning.
