Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, work-life balance dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif pada kinerja flight-crew yang dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada PT. XYZ dengan melibatkan 217 flight-crew pada tipe pesawat B737. Pengumpulan data dengan menyebar kuesioner dengan skala likert. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis SEM menggunakan pendekatan partial least square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan motivasi kerja tidak mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja flight-crew dimana tidak dapat berkembang jika sistem yang ada tidak mendukung kreativitas dan inovasi dari sang pemimpin dan kurang adanya penghargaan kepada flight-crew yang diberikan oleh perusahaan di PT. XYZ untuk memotivasi flight-crew. Work-life balance mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja flight-crew. Kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi terbukti mampu memediasi pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional, work-life balance, dan motivasi terhadap kinerja flight-crew flight-crew di PT. XYZ. Implikasi manajerial yang dapat diambil oleh manajemen PT XYZ mengevaluasi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan mencari alternatif yang lebih efektif, PT XYZ juga harus fokus pada program-program work-life balance sehingga menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang produktif dan mendukung. / This study aims to determine and analyze the transformational leadership style, Work-life Balance, and work motivation have a positive impact on the performance of flight crew employed by the company. This research was conducted at PT. XYZ involving as many as 217 crew members with aircraft type B737. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire with a likert scale. The Data were analyzed using SEM analysis in this study using partial least square (PLS) measurement. The results showed that transformational leadership style and work motivation does not affect the performance of the flight-crew where it can not develop if the existing system does not support the creativity and innovation of the leader and the lack of leadership personnel on the flight-crew provided by the company at PT. XYZ for crew motivation. Work-life Balance gives a positive picture of the performance of the flight crew. Job satisfaction as an integrated mediation variable can to improve transformational performance, Work-life Balance, and motivation towards flight-crew flight-crew performance at PT. XYZ. The implementation of management that can be done by PT XYZ management evaluating transformational leadership styles and looking for more effective alternatives, PT XYZ should also focus on Work-life Balance programs to achieve a productive and sustainable work framework.
