Abstract

Peran guru seorang guru tidak hanya terbatas pada penyampaian materi, tetapi juga mencakup perancangan pembelajaran sebelum melakukan pengajaran. Ini melibatkan proses merencanakan secara sistematis, memilih metode yang sesuai, serta menyesuaikan pendekatan dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa. Penulisan ini menguraikan perencanaan pembelajaran yang ditujukan untuk siswa kelas XI IPS di sebuah sekolah Kristen. Pembelajaran ini berlangsung selama 8 pertemuan dan fokus pada materi Turunan Fungsi Aljabar. Melalui materi ini, siswa diharapkan menyadari bahwa aturan dan rumus dalam turunan fungsi aljabar didasarkan pada perhitungan limit fungsi yang menunjukkan keteraturan dan konsistensi dalam pengenalan suatu pola. Kemampuan ini merupakan anugerah Allah yang memberikan kecerdasan untuk memahami ciptaan-Nya dengan benar. Dengan model pembelajaran yang dipilih adalah Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah dan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe STAD. Pemilihan model pembelajaran ini berdasarkan hasil observasi yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas XI IPS cenderung menyukai pembelajaran berkelompok. Setelah penerapan model ini, rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS pada penilaian formatif dengan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah adalah 73, sedangkan dengan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe STAD adalah 88. Berdasarkan hasil ini, guru menyadari bahwa Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe STAD lebih efektif dibandingkan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah. Meskipun demikian, guru masih belum sepenuhnya berhasil menyampaikan pemahaman sepanjang hayat. Oleh karena itu, guru harus terus mengevaluasi pembelajaran agar setiap siswa mendapatkan pembelajaran yang bermakna. / The role of a teacher extends beyond merely delivering material; it also encompasses the design of lessons before teaching. This involves systematically planning, selecting appropriate methods, and adjusting approaches to meet the needs and characteristics of students. This writing outlines a lesson plan aimed at 11th-grade social science students in a Christian school. The instruction spans eight sessions and focuses on the topic of Algebraic Function Derivatives. Through this material, students are expected to understand that the rules and formulas in function derivatives are based on limit calculations, which demonstrate order and consistency in recognizing patterns. This ability is viewed as a gift from God, providing the intelligence to correctly understand His creation. The chosen teaching models are the Problem-Based Learning Model and the Cooperative Learning Model of the STAD type. The selection of these models is based on observations showing that 11th-grade social science students tend to prefer group learning. After implementing these models, the average formative assessment scores of 11th-grade social science students were 73 for the Problem-Based Learning Model and 88 for the Cooperative Learning Model of the STAD type. Based on these results, the teacher realized that the Cooperative Learning Model of the STAD type is more effective than the Problem-Based Learning Model. However, the teacher has not yet fully succeeded in conveying lifelong understanding. Therefore, teachers must continuously evaluate the learning process to ensure that every student receives meaningful education.
