Abstract
Tidak jarang seorang guru akan diperhadapkan dengan perilaku-perilaku siswa yang menunjukkan ketidakdisiplinan dan ketidakaktifan di dalam kelas. Kedua hal ini merupakan masalah yang tidak dapat dibiarkan oleh guru karena berpengaruh terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran yang terjadi di dalam kelas. Modifikasi Perilaku dalam kelompok merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang dapat dilaksanakan oleh guru untuk mengatasai masalah ketidakdisiplinan dan ketidakaktifan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan pendekatan Modifikasi Perilaku dalam kelompok merupakan sarana yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan dan keaktifan siswa serta memaparkan proses penerapan pendekatan Modifikasi Perilaku dalam kelompok dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan dan keaktifan siswa kelas XI IPS satu dalam Pelajaran Sosiologi. Desain penelitian merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan empat siklus. Analisa data menggunakan analisa deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS satu yang berjumlah 18 orang pada salah satu SMA swasta di Makassar. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu berupa observasi, penyebaran angket kepada siswa, jurnal refleksi, dan dokumentasi berupa lesson plan, feedback Peer Observer, kenang-kenangan dari siswa, dan daftar nilai siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan Pendekatan Modifikasi Perilaku dalam kelompok dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan dan keaktifan siswa kelas XI IPS 1 dalam pelajaran Sosiologi.

Not infrequently a teacher will be confronted with the behaviors of students who show indiscipline and inactivity in the classroom. Secondly it is a matter that can not be tolerated by teachers because of influence on learning activities that occur in the classroom. Behavior Modification in group is one approach that can be implemented by handling his teacher to student indiscipline and inactivity. This study aimed to determine whether the application of behavior modification approach in group is an effective means to improve student discipline and activeness as well as describing the process of applying behavior modification approach in group to improve student discipline and activity of class XI IPS one in Sociology. Design research is a Class-Action Research (TOD) by using four cycles. Analysis of data using qualitative analysis. Research subjects were students of class XI IPS, amounting to 18 people at one private high school in Makassar. The research instruments used are observation, questionnaires to students, reflection journals, and documentation in the form of lesson plans, feedback Peer Observer, a memento from the student, and a list of student values. The results showed that the application of behavior modification approach in the group can improve classroom discipline and activeness of students XI social science one in Sociology class.
