Abstract

Schooling time is one of the most important parts in somebody’s life. School is become the center for somebody to gain knowledge, skills, and also to develop their character. But now a-days the schools only focus on cognitive development, they ignoring about character development. Whereas one of the purpose of schooling time is character development. The writer look that to have an effective learning environment, good classroom management is needed. Because without classroom management there is no system control to control the students, it can affect the students just do what they want in the classroom and it might cause they disrespect another people rights. That can make a chaos inside the classroom itself. Rules and procedures are needed to develop a well-managed classroom so the purpose of school itself can be fulfilled. The design of the research is action research methodology. Which is one of the purposes is to improve students quality in learning. The classroom action research is build from 4 cycles in case each cycle consist 4 step (planning, action, observing, and reflection). This methodology is a research done by teacher working with other observers in class or in the school they worked with and emphasize to the improvement of the learning process. So basically this is a long term research. From the research we can see the benefits of rules and procedures in classroom to control the students’ misbehavior and to develop a well-managed classroom. / Masa sekolah merupakan salah satu masa yang sangat penting dalam bagian kehidupan seseorang. Sekolah telah menjadi pusat dari seseorang untuk mendapatlan pengetahuan, keahlian-keahlian, dan untuk mengembangkan karakter mereka. Tetapi belakangan ini sekolah hanya berfokus pada pengembangan kemampuan berpikir, dan mengabaikan pengembangan karakter. Padahal salah satu tujuan dari bersekolah adalah pengembangan karakter. Penulis melihat untuk mendapatkan lingkungan pembelajaran yang efektif, mempunyai kemampuan untuk mengurus kelas adalah suatu syarat yang mutlak. Tanpa kemampuan untuk mengurus kelas, tidak ada sistem kontrol untuk mengontrol perilaku siswa. Dampaknya murid-murid dapat seenaknya bertingkah laku dalam kelas dan dapat berakibat kepada pelecehan hak-hak asasi orang lain. Hal tersebut dapat mengakibatkan keributan di dalam kelas itu sendiri. Peraturan dan prosedur dibutuhkan untuk mengembangkan ruang kelas yang teratur sehingga tujuan dari sekolah itu dapat dipenuhi. Penilitian in didasarkan pada penelitian tindakan metodologi, yang dimana bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran murid. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dibangun melalui 4 siklus yang dimana setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 4 tahapan (perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi). Metodologi ini merupakan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh guru bekerja sama dengan pengamat yang lain di dalam kelas atau di sekolah, yang dimana mereka berkerja sama untuk mengembangkan proses pembelajaran. Jadi pada dasarnya ini merupakan penelitian jangka panjang. Dari penelitian ini kita dapat melihat dampak dari peraturan dan prosedur dalam ruang kelas untuk mengatur perilaku siswa dan mengembangkan keteraturan ruang kelas.
