Abstract

Keterlibatan siswa secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dapat membuahkan hasil belajar yang langgeng bagi siswa itu sendiri. Aktifitas yang dilakukan siswa memampukan mereka untuk memperoleh, memilih, dan mengelola informasi seperti mengkaji, memecahkan, menerapkan dan menganalisis serta mengevaluasi informasi tersebut. Pembelajaran aktif yang akan diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa kelas X SMA. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketimpangan yang dihadapi di lapangan, yaitu kurangnya metode atau kegiatan pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa, guru hanya berhenti pada tingkat penerapan (Taksonomi Bloom). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan menggunakan model penelitian tindakan kelas dari Kemmis & McTaggart yang merupakan pengembangan model penelitian Kurt Lewin. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan perolehan nilai latihan siswa dalam setiap siklus penelitian, feedback secara keseluruhan dari siswa dan penerapan metode pembelajaran aktif terhadap dua belas siswa perempuan dan dua belas siswa laki-laki di kelas X di salah satu SMA Kristen Makassar. Setelah itu penghitungan dilakukan dengan menggunakan pengukuran persentase sehingga akan didapatkan hasil sesuai dengan indikator yang diharapkan. Dari hasil penelitian tindakan kelas, terlihat bahwa metode pembelajaran aktif, yaitu dengan melibatkan siswa dalam pembelajaran, mampu meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa. / Actively involvement of students in the learning process can produce everlasting learning outcomes for the students themselves. Activities undertaken by the students is in order to enable them to acquire, select, and manage information such as assess, solve, implement, analyze and evaluate information. Active learning, which will be applied in this research is to improve grade X students’ analytical skill. It is motivated by the inequality in the field, which is the lack of methods or learning activities that can help students improve their analytical skills, teachers only stop at the level of implementation (Bloom's Taxonomy). Research method used was classroom action research, using the research model of Kemmis & McTaggart, which is developed from the Kurt Lewin’s research model. This research was conducted in three cycles. The collection of the data was using the students’ grades in each cycle, the overall feedback from students, and application of active learning methods of twelve female students and twelve male students in class X in one of the Makassar Christian high school. After that, the calculation of the data is done by using the measurement of the percentage that will resulted in accordance with the indicators expected. From the results of classroom action research, it is shown that active learning methods, which is done by involving students in learning, can increae students' analytical skills.
