Abstract

Penilaian memiliki peranan penting dalam proses pembelajaran yang dibawakan oleh seorang guru yang memiliki kompetensi profesional dalam menjalankan praktik pendidikan. Namun, pada salah satu sekolah saat melakukan program pengalaman lapangan selama 6 minggu, didapati kompetensi guru dalam penilaian harus ditingkatkan lagi. Guru belum menerapkan prinsip dan standar penilaian berdasarkan rubrik penilaian guru. Hal ini berarti guru belum melaksanakan penilaian dengan lengkap. Guru Kristen yang telah mengenal kebenaran dan melandaskan penilaiannya pada kebenaran seharusnya memampukan guru untuk menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya dengan baik. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari makalah ini adalah untuk menguraikan penggunaan rubrik dalam penilaian pembelajaran tematik anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengkaji ialah kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun kesimpulan penggunaan rubrik dalam menilai pembelajaran siswa yaitu untuk: (1) menolong siswa dalam menggali, mengembangkan, serta mempertajam kembali potensi dirinya; (2) memberikan pengaruh yang baik bagi guru dan siswa; (3) sebagai alat yang efektif, rubrik penilaian juga memberikan informasi evaluasi atas pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran yang terjadi. Oleh sebab itu guru Kristen disarankan untuk mengembangkan kompetensinya dan sebagai tindak lanjut kedepannya untuk guru Kristen melakukan penelitian berupa tindakan sehingga memperoleh hasil yang lebih signifikan./ Assessment has an important role in the learning process carried out by a teacher who has professional competence in carrying out educational practice. However, in one of the schools when conducting a field experience program for 6 weeks, it was found that teacher competence in assessment had to be further improved. The teacher has not applied the principles and standards of assessment based on the teacher's assessment rubric. This means that the teacher has not carried out the assessment completely. Christian teachers who have known the truth and base their judgment on the truth should enable teachers to carry out their duties and responsibilities well. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to describe the use of rubrics in the assessment of early childhood thematic learning. The research method used to examine is descriptive qualitative. The conclusions of the use of rubrics in assessing student learning are to: (1) assist students in exploring, developing, and re-sharpening their potential; (2) provide a good influence for teachers and students; (3) as an effective tool, the assessment rubric also provides evaluation information on the implementation of the learning process that occurs. Therefore, Christian teachers are advised to develop their competencies and as a follow-up in the future for Christian teachers to conduct research in the form of actions so as to obtain more significant results.
